It’s been several weeks since the exciting premiere of The Inside Man – Season 6 in St. Petersburg, Fl. If you missed my post, I talked about this magical night where we released the latest blockbuster season of this award winning security awareness series.
It’s been a tradition to have a contest to see who is the biggest fan of the series in the lead up to the premiere. It all started with the regular unsolicited feedback from fans on social media and via email from millions of viewers globally. A few people suggested that they should be able to attend the premiere if they were the biggest fan. Our first ever winner was Tabitha Senty, a teacher from Minnesota who was using The Inside Man with her high school cybersecurity classes.
She won an all expense paid trip to the premiere in Clearwater, FL. Last year our premiere was in London and this time we invited three finalists and the grand prize was to be featured as a walk-on actor in the series. After stiff competition from finalists that included a song written and performed by one fan, and a research paper about the series, Indigo Ross won by acting out a scene about an interview for a new job, including discovering if the organization had KnowBe4 and The Inside Man before accepting an offer from the company. You can catch Indigo in the first scene of the first episode of Season 6 playing a DJ in our opening nightclub scene.
Stiffer Competition for the Biggest Fan than Ever
This year saw more high quality entries from all over the world. Contestants used the hashtag #TheInsideManBiggestFanContest across various social media platforms to submit their cases for why they should be selected. There were many creative entries and our panel of judges had a hard time, however 4 finalists were ultimately selected:
- Sarah Proctor from Texas
- Jodi Hatter from Florida
- Lucy Morris from the United Kingdom
- Tom Aldahn from Australia

All of our finalists were flown and put up at KnowBe4’s expense and given the red carpet treatment at the premiere to be in the group to watch their favorite security awareness training series. They were all invited on stage and were acknowledged for making it to the finals.
And the winner of The Inside Man Biggest Fan – Season 6 Contest is…
The winner is, Sarah! She created a video on what happened when her organization considered no longer licensing KnowBe4 content. Her video detailed her plan to show her organization exactly why they need The Inside Man series! They got permission to try to social engineer the staff and were thwarted, proving that the training was working and needed. We are all looking forward to seeing Sarah in Season 7 and we are excited to see what role she will play!
KnowBe4 Employee Contest
After hearing for years about it being “no fair” that KnowBe4 team members (or as we call them, “Knowsters”) couldn’t participate in the contest. We also had a separate contest for the first time that allowed them to participate and also earn another walk-on spot in season 7. Layna Nascimento, a Q/A Specialist from our Brazil office, submitted this video where she single-handly dubbed the Season 3 trailer in Portuguese. Exciting side note, we are working on dubbing all the episodes in Portuguese for Brazil in the coming months. We are getting voice actors for all of the characters to do it, Layna doesn’t have to do all the work 😉
Another Year, Another Season
Believe it or not, work has already begun on Season 7 and there are some more big surprises coming. It’s going to be better than ever. If you haven’t caught up yet, don’t worry we have plenty of time before the next premiere which will be in early 2026 to think of how you or someone from your organization can participate.
